Do you know really what is science exactly???

 Today I want to ask a question from you that do you really know what is science exactly???? 

Do you think science is only a subject of your syllabus which you have to study to get good results in examinations to become the owner of your parents' proud? 

No , for them who love science and understand it as much important as a mother understand it's child.

Science is originated from a  Latin word  means  ''to know", anything that we can or can't. 

In books science is defined as ,systematic , organized, and formulated knowledge obtained through observations , experiments and verifications .

According to Sir Poincare , science is built up with facts as house is build up with stones, but a mere collection of facts is no more a science as a heap of stones is no more a house.

Science is that human endeavour that seeks to describe with ever increasing accuracy , the events and circumstances that occur or exist in this natural environment.

For the pursuit of science , scientists use scientific method in which observations are made, hypothesis is given , and then experimentation is done to verify it.

If experiments can't satisfy it then the hypothesis is modified or rejected and another hypothesis is made.

For example: Firstly, Ptolemy gave Geocentric theory according to which the Earth is at rest and Sun and other planets revolve around it.

But later Nicolaus Copernicus gave theory of Heliocentric according to which the sun is at rest and other planets revolve around it .

In 1800s', the study of material objects is the single aspect of human which is referred a 'natural philosophy' .

Later it is divided in two parts ,

Physics and Biology.

Physics is the study of the properties and behaviours of non- living things and the study of living things is referred as Biology.

Chemistry is a part of  Physics in which we not only read about the 118 elements but also about the millions of compounds which can be derived from them. 

Physics is making attempts to measure the quantities with great accuracy to determine the properties of matter. That's why it is known as the science of measurements  or the exact science.

               Conclusion

When we are trying to reach the extent of science , then it is our stupidity like we are trying to approach infinity . 

The most incomprehensive thing of this world is that it is very comprehensive.
