CEOs of Big Companies came forward for helping India:
Three CEOs of Indian origin have been included in the Steering Committee of a global workforce created to fight the Corona Virus epidemic in India. These include Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Daylight CEO Puneet Ranjan and Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayan. All three top officials have been active in uniting American companies to help India fight the epidemic. Other officials who have been made members of the Steering Committee include Mark Suzman, CEO of the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, and Suzanne Clarke, CEO of the US Chamber of Commerce. The task force is working closely with the US India Business Council and the US India Strategic Partnership Forum to immediately help curb the Corona wave in India. The CEO of Deloitte company, Punit Renjan said that this is the perfect time for other countries to forward their hands for helping India in this pandemic situation. He said that his company is inspiring their employees who are spread across the world to help three charities- GiveIndia, United Way India and PM Care Funds. This is the time for helping India in this worse situation. India helped the western countries when they needed it.
America and other countries are helping India
The industrial world of America has sent up to 25,000 oxygen concentrators to India. The national security advisor of America, Jack Sulivan said that the American government, the corporator and the American public are working together for India to help it to fight against the CoronaVirus. Sulivan commented this after the first international meeting held for fighting against the coronavirus. He said that they would continue their work of helping people globally.
America is regularly sending oxygen concentrators, vaccines, rapid test kits, N95 masks and much more in a large number.
Firstly, the US refused to send raw materials used for making vaccines in India. But a few weeks ago, President of America, Joe Biden communicated with PM Narendra Modi and apologized for being so late in helping them. He said that he had allowed to supply the raw materials of vaccines in India and assured him that America and American Government will help India to fight against CoronaVirus as much as possible. From then, America has been regularly supplying materials like oxygen cylinders, kits, masks,etc. through airways.
Till now, USA has sent 10 lakh Rapid test kits, about 550 oxygen concentrators, about 16 lakh N95 masks, about 450 oxygen cylinders, 1 deployable oxygen concentration system, etc.
Like USA, other countries like UK, Russia, Australia and other countries are also helping India in this pandemic situation.
Britain has sent about 2000 oxygen concentrators, 3 oxygen generators,1200 ventilators, and 900 ventilators to India.
Russian government also came forward to help India and sent more than 25 oxygen concentrators, more than 80 ventilators, and medicines.
India will get 19 to 25 crore doses from GAVI
Ho Gaya the Global Alliance for vaccines and immunization or GAVI was established for helping poor countries or the countries which have low income for helping them to fight against CoronaVirus.
From Global Alliance for Vaccines and Immunition or GAVI, a statement has been released according to which India will get 19 to 25 crore doses of vaccine. For this matter India has to give about 220 crore rupees for managing and building cold chains.
The speaker of GAVI said that this Alliance is completely ready for helping India in this pandemic situation.
The 50 lakh doses of Covishield vaccines which were to be sent to Britain will be used in India.
